My background as a transactional technology and commercial lawyer, coupled with my accreditation as a mediator, forms the foundation of my expertise in strategic negotiation consulting. My legal career has taken me through top law firms in the UK and New Zealand, as well as in-house for a major bank, where I’ve spent more than a decade honing my skills in drafting and negotiating complex technology and commercial transactions. This diverse experience has equipped me with comprehensive knowledge in advising clients on a wide range of commercial matters, from product sales and distribution to intricate technology-related issues such as cloud migration and IT outsourcing. My work spans both regulated and non-regulated sectors, giving me a thorough understanding of the varied landscapes our clients navigate.
In recent years and long before AI began dominating the news, I’ve developed a keen interest and expertise in AI regulation and governance. This focus has allowed me to assist companies in implementing responsible AI Governance Frameworks, helping them navigate the complex intersection of technology and ethics. I’ve had the opportunity to contribute to discussions on AI through various channels, including co-authoring the UK chapter on AI for Global Legal Insights from 2020 to 2023, and more recently, a chapter on AI governance for “The Handbook of Board Governance” in 2024.
By combining my legal background with this evolving field of AI Governance, I aim to support AI Human Agency in guiding companies through the intricate balance of innovation and responsibility in AI implementation. My goal is to help organisations harness the potential of AI while maintaining a strong focus on human-centric approaches and ethical considerations.

With over three decades of experience in leadership roles across diverse industries, I bring a wealth of expertise to AI Human Agency. My journey began in the telecommunications sector, where I pioneered innovative call centre solutions and payment systems, demonstrating an early aptitude for leveraging technology to enhance business operations. This foundation in tech-driven solutions has proven invaluable throughout my career and in my current role.
My career path has led me through various sectors, including aviation training, fintech, and management consulting. In the aviation industry, I transformed a local flight school into an internationally recognised training provider, securing partnerships with major airlines and driving regulatory changes. My foray into fintech saw me establishing during Covid and leading a UK-based payment service provider, where I built a high-performing team and implemented robust compliance frameworks.
Throughout my career, I have consistently focused on identifying market opportunities, building and motivating teams, and navigating complex regulatory landscapes. My expertise spans from crafting go-to-market strategies and driving organisational change to managing resources and resolving conflicts. With a strong educational background in engineering, IT and management, coupled with a passion for emerging technologies like AI and fintech, I am well-positioned to guide AI Human Agency in its mission to provide cutting-edge transitional management, strategic negotiation consulting, and AI governance solutions to organisations worldwide.
